My one month salary cannot pay for IELTS. This is an exam that cost about 80k earlier this year. I had to use my whole one month salary and add money from elsewhere. How will an HO who wants to japa do it? Let's not even talk about PLAB or even licensing exams. I hate it here.

No tourniquet: we use gloves or cut tubing of IV giving set. No Imaging request form: we use Haematology forms to prescribe. No prescription sheet: we use plain paper. No PPEs to do bedside procedures: we resort to begging other patients. A constant cycle of patching the system

I believe doctors are at fault. We improvise a lot and directly fuel mediocrity in the system. Maybe if we stand our ground and insist on the right thing, there will be a change. Afterall we are the leaders of the healthcare system.

Me every single day. Saw shege pro max but very thankful

Again, I’m thankful I did my HJ in LASUTH. Not a single regret.

This medicine is just a waste of time, never seen a field where you study this hard to just suffer emotionally and financially in the job. What do you mean I've spent the last 10yrs of my life toiling to be getting offered peanuts, Work unregulated time for okada man like Income

Doctors need to wake up, form strong coalitions that will fight the demonic wage stricture in Nigeria. Why are MBBS holders earning lower per hour rates than security men fgs

Medicine keeps you humble. The moment you think you’ve seen it all, the next patient proves you haven’t.
