As a driver for both platforms for five years, I can say with great conviction there’s only one company I invest in - @Uber. They have far superior tech, customer service and driver compensation. @Lyft continues to get worse for drivers.
To suggest drivers make more money with this system is an outright lie. There’s no way to predict when these “bonuses” will happen, like you could with surge. No way to predict where or how. You were the drivers’ choice, now you’re a joke. You can’t even give us a night mode.
@AskLyft Your “Power Zone” bonus structure is bullshit. It’s not tied to actual business levels. When you charge riders surge during busy times we get none of that. Petty random $5 bonuses that provide no incentive for XL drivers, higher risk and no reward at bar close, B.S.!!
