Hot off the presses from @GiuntiEditore in Italy, the most recent book I have translated, on the stunningly beautiful Pagani Utopia.
A hotel to avoid in Lausanne, the #AlphaPalmiers: lousy service with no hot water on day 1, room not cleaned during stay. Too few staff at reception and no authority to deal with problems. No manager on duty at weekend, although hotel was full. This hotel needs a new director!
0/10 for visitors to @The_RPS by car. No signs off main road and if you overshoot you end up in Bristol charge zone. Once found, visitor parking poorly signed and @RingGo_parking requires registration of account to pay (no reply on advertised phone #). Please do better!
Sunshine and great driving roads in Iceland today on the @RALLYSTORY Island Rally. Overnight stop in Siglufjordur, with a visit to the Herring Museum coming up before dinner tonight (I wonder what might be on the menu?).
