50 microbits flashed with @rustembedded for the @EclipseCon IoT Hackathon! @microbit_edu @DrogueIoT
Join us at the @EclipseCon Hacker Day! You'll get to program @microbit_edu with @rustembedded and connect them to the internet! Write @QuarkusIO applications that process the data (tweet when you jump?) and send commands back (play smoke on the water?). Anything is possible!
Thanks for the motivation! We've added DTLS support now, and you can try it using our test instance (…dev.apps.wonderful.iot-playground.org - we might update/break this on a whim), and it will appear on the "official" sandbox after the next release. Reach out to us if you miss more features!
I still have some things to work out, but I'm happy with how it's turned out so far. I hope to test the project with @DrogueIoT soon!
We like @CloudEventsIO too, good choice! It really simplifies integration for event based systems.

A few custom JavaScript snippets, the ability that one thing can update the other, and cross references: and you get a hierarchical data model. It kind of feels like "ready" for a 0.1.0 release.
Great chance to get hands on with @rustembedded, @DrogueIoT and @EclipseIoT tech!
