The news from Scotland that means we may soon see an Overdose prevention Centre/ DCR in the UK is encouraging. Four years ago I was fortunate to spend some time at the largest DCR in Europe, HR17 in Copenhagen. You can read more here: drugtrain.org/dcrs-in-denmark

This week saw the second of our #cannabis workshops, for Staff from @WSCCNews stop smoking services. They gained an overview of all things cannabis related with a focus on #harmreduction & non smoking methods of Use to enable them to support those wanting to quit tobacco.

Great day of face to face training with the wonderful young persons team from @ChangingLives__ @NYorksPolice. We talked alcohol, benzodiazepines, psychedelics, cannabis , nitrous & more at their amazing building right next to the city walls.

Cannabis sweets seized by @BarnsNorthNPT. An unregulated product,containing unknown quantities of THC and easily accessed by children. Our drug laws achieve the opposite of what they claim to do. A legal , controlled and regulated cannabis market needed. @DanJarvisMP @SYPCC
A great day working with the wonderful team from @MatthewProject on our depressant drugs workshop. It's a full day via Zoom, everyone worked really hard and we had some great discussions considering the use of depressant drugs and how to support people using them.
