We have been blessed with growth in Charlbury across congregations but by far the biggest percentage growth- an increase of c. 200%- has been at the 8am Prayer Book Communion on a Sunday. I’ve been thinking about why that might be.

Personally, I think the case could be made that the best thing the CofE ever did was put an educated gentleman in every parish in the land, with fairly light duties. From that came social stability and cohesion, as well as many great contributions to literature and scholarship.
