U.S. Capitol Police locked down all buildings within the U.S. Capitol complex as pro-Trump extremists breached the Capitol building and continue to clash with police.

I have a question - were these U.S Capitol infiltrators arrested for questioning, or were they allowed to go free?? There's this strange video of a line of these domestic terrorists calmly walking out of the building, so I'm just curious.

NEW: A reporter inside the House chamber says there is an “armed standoff at the House front the door” and “police officers have their guns drawn at someone who is trying to reach the front door.” The latest: trib.al/eKgbVhK

So you're telling me there are protesters who are allowed to BREACH the U.S. capital and forcibly stop a democratic process with relative impunity, but we should treat protesters who fight for empathy, and maybe stop traffic in a few cities, with disdain. Got it. Thanks. #BLM

Unemployment is at an all time high. Small businesses are struggling to keep their doors open.Students are now being taught from home w/out lunch or supplies. As a teacher & a single parent I ask you to join @HumanityForward and I in the fight for monthly stimulus checks today.

A 50-year horror experiment on the American people has produced the desired results: a population that's sick, poor, under-educated, under-nourished, under-employed, under-insured, and so engaged in survival with few resources that they don't have the mental energy for revolting.

Average American home: roughly 300k for 30 YEARS. @mackenziescott basically shelled out 4k, one-million-dollar homes to undo some disparity. @AnandWrites is 💯 about the need for systemic change. Empowered workers, not appointed philanthropists. But still, this is inspirational.
