It really cannot be said enough that its mutual aid groups in Texas who are keeping people housed & safe right now. The gov’t can try to blame a lack of resources or unpreparedness or whatever but at the end of the day, community members kept folks safe immediately and for free.

A lot of poor people don’t have student loans...they have payday loans and medical debt, and an inflated car payment. They deserve to have their debt erased just like college grads.
