Had a cup of coffee, well hot chocolate (neither of us are coffee people) with Zionsville Mayor Joh Stehr this morning at Our Place, a Cafe in the Village downtown. Cute little spot worth checking out if you're ever in the area.

It’s not often you can definitively say you just watched the greatest drive in a school’s history but that was definitely Indiana’s.
This weather sucks, but it also lets little kids stay up tonight and watch the IU game, and I think that's pretty great.

One of my favorite things about Kokomo is how it has a small town feel while also not being an actual small town. Case in point: when I got groceries Saturday, between Aldi and Meijer, I saw a half dozen people I know. This is a typical experience for me. I just like it.
Checked out the Heartland Fly Fishing Festival at the Boone County Fairgrounds. The event brings together fly fisherman from across multiple states, benefitting Project Healing Waters, a veteran fly fishing group. Can't stress how kind everyone was. Great experience.
