Short video clips, like those found on @tiktok_us or @instagram Reels, have become the most widely consumed content for younger generations. Even average movie shots are getting shorter, dropping from 12 seconds in 1930 to an average of just 2.5 seconds.

as a marketing guy, I find it interesting that the @wallstreetbets guys took their earnings and invested it in outdoor advertising (billboards) vs a digital play to advance their message. Great example of traditional media being turned into a social campaign.
