For a celebrity to just come out in public and say they don’t want to catch Covid again and that’s why they wear a mask means we are in a different place than we were 3 years ago when no one would even mention Covid by name unless it was referring to it being over. Small steps

Tom Hanks understands that Covid isn’t over & masks work! He says he’s in a play and can’t get sick. “I’ve had covid enough. I don’t want to do that again” This is the way. Wearing a mask helps keep you healthy and protects those around you. A respirator like an N95 is best!

This is a great way to help ease the strain facing people impacted by the SNAP funding lapse. Food, water and housing are basic human rights. The Mayor is working to ensure water and housing remain intact as folks struggle to keep food on the table.

Stanford Med has brought back mandatory masking. Why? Flu season. 🤡 Meanwhile, COVID has no seasonality is something like 5-10X deadlier and far more disabling

This is called hypernormalization, which was greatly amplified by the Covid pandemic. You all agreed it was over, but it's somehow still killing and disabling countless people around the world. Healthy or not, young and old. Maybe we should start there, just a thought

We now know that the Teen Vogue fold is more than an absorption & clearly a full shift from the pub’s DNA. Laying off the entire politics team a day before the NYC election is heinous + a knife in the back to a brand that has solidified its importance for youth. Devastating.

and you should mask to avoid covid and losing this wonderful sense memory capability!

A not-so-gentle reminder that olfactory memories are some of our most vivid because the sense of smell connects directly with the brain’s memory and emotion centers. It is unique in this respect - other senses are mediated on their way to the limbic system.

The very concerning thing is that the virus can reside in the bone marrow and what screening do we have on blood donors? You aren’t supposed to donate if you have long covid but there is no screening for that either.
