Spiritualized - I Think I'm In Love (Top Of The Pops, January 1998)
Swansea: set list unchanged. Voice very good. Diction excellent .....spells of mumbling. Arrangements mainly good .... some overly slow. Blues structure -> weak melodies. Harmonica used in 5 songs very well. No guitar as far as I could see. Most of the audience happy. No encores.

Very good I concur with all of that. The first 2 songs at a’dam 1 were some of the roughest throat clearers I’ve heard! The show is RARWs that’s where the set-up and band tick. That said masterpiece was my fave. The venues + dates (days) disappointing But Leeds - ofc cu there😀
Thanks for this review. I was just listening to the Carnegie concert where he says something like I don’t know nothing about microphones and I thought sixty years later that might still be true based on some of the comments I’ve seen, but no one alive deserves more respect.
