My biased opinion: ES'16's biggest feature was being developed entirely on GitHub. It's really amazing how much work the community put in!
Happy to announce that Object.entries/Object.values is now stage 4, and officially will be in ES 2017! github.com/tc39/ecma262/p…
ES'16 has forked from master and heading toward standardization in June! The draft rendering is here: tc39.github.io/ecma262/2016/.
On March 1st I will be snapshotting the ECMA262 draft to start its journey toward becoming the official ECMAScript 2016 standard!
New ECMAScript draft released: github.com/tc39/ecma262/r…. No new features, but a huge number of editorial fixes.
Shepherding ES2015 to completion is definitely one of my major career achievements. But dedicating 7+ years to one project is long enough.
TC39 just voted to pass along the upcoming ES2015 RC4 to the ECMA GA for final ratification :-D
Currently in love with Traceur. Bomb your @CoffeeScript, write @ECMAScript. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
