Wow - this is a huge huge loss to UK medicine. Dr Wong and family choosing to go to Singapore 20 years of expertise gone just like that. We are losing 15-20k Doctors each year. Tell me how many PAs or even fresh doctors it would take to cover up the gap being left behind by

A #fish at an open air market is given such a shallow bit of water that they cannot even swim upright. This is how little we think about the welfare of animals raised for food. 💔

Which vessel? --> pulmonary artery! This was a massive PE. Tough case, but 2 takehome pearls: (1) PE can produce STE, esp. V1, aVR, and III (right side leads), and (2) it is very uncommon for STEMIs/OMIs to produce new right axis; STE + new RAD=PE until proven otherwise #FOAMed

Hi, I’m an ICU doctor. I don’t know much about rashes but I’m sure I know more about rashes than you do about ventilators! When someone asks you a question, either be kind, or just don’t say anything

I think this is my home country #Iran. Male babies are useless for #egg production and are transported to be buried alive. In this case the truck got into an accident. Here in the US we grind them up alive. In egg farms, small or large, male babies are useless and killed.

Important talk from Dr. Amal Mattu on repeating ECGs for STEMIs. 21% of prehospital STEMIs can resolve by ED arrival, but still need urgent cath. Repeat ECGs, as findings may come and go. Occlusion still present. ecgweekly.com/weekly-workout… #ECGWeekly #STEMI #RepeatECG
