This man could easily be a 1,300+ yard rusher every year if it weren't for his OL getting him killed every game.
He's cheaper and younger. Plus, it's not a super long-term deal. If it doesn't work, oh well. But they have someone with upside if he meshes well.

He gets mauled every game because his OL can't even create an initial gap for him to run through. The number of times he's been tackled behind the LOS is absurd.
I think K9 is going to want to play for another team next season and I honestly don’t blame him Seeing Saquon produce at such a high level with a real offense line shows how important the trenches are If John doesn’t address OL in the draft I think we lose him unfortunately
Not every stat shows the difficulty on film. Lots of these targets aren't the typical "I'm gonna go up and grab it." He's got several defenders in the area, which is often times because Geno is forcing the ball to him out of desperation. He's had many out of this world catches.
D.K. Metcalf has the most contested catch targets in the NFL over the last 2 seasons (55) and has only caught 16 of them (29%). For comparisons sake, Drake London has the 2nd most (51) with 28 catches (55%). He is a huge contributor to Seattle's inconsistency issues IMO.
