The ESA Fellows are a lifetime recognition to those who have advanced the frontier of knowledge in economics through the use of laboratory and/or field experiments. The 2025 ESA Fellows are: Mark Isaac, Rosemarie Nagel, Robert Sugden, Lise Vesterlund and James Walker.


The 2025 ESA Prize for Exceptional Achievement honours those overcoming Challenges to make impactful contributions to exp. econ. Prof. Erin Krupka has impressive work on social norms and on incentivized norm elicitation techniques that have become a cornerstone in the field.

The 2025 ESA World Meeting will be held at the Renmin University of China in Beijing from June 6th to June 8th, 2025. Keynote speakers are Charles Noussair, Soo Hong Chew and Lise Vesterlund. econ.ruc.edu.cn/ESA2025/


Submissions for the 2025 North American ESA Meeting in Tucson (Oct 9-12) are now open at economicscience.org . Plenary speakers include Christine Exley, Ernst Fehr and Michael Kremer. There will also be a symposium in honor of James C. Cox.

On Jan 3rd, the ESA held 3 sessions at the ASSA meetings in SF. They were "Measuring Beliefs", "Polarization, Trust, and Institutions", and "Psychological Motivations Underlying Economic Interactions". We’d like to thank speakers and organizers for their excellent presentations


In December, the ESA held the 3rd annual ESA-BREW-India conference at Ashoka University. It was very successful and the ESA thanks Srijita Ghosh and the rest of the organizing committee for putting on a great event!
