Preparing students for the igcse exams

My articles on #Heaney here are focused on the #deathofanaturalist anthology. Use them to spark discussion? jwpblog.com/tag/heaney/

Mixing #brucespringsteen and ⁦@OCR_English⁩ was fun, but there is a serious discussion here. Or, as serious as I ever am! jwpblog.com/2019/08/19/huc…

Poll #teamenglish @Team_English1 Thanks in advance Which GCSE Literature spec do you follow?

Good luck all! Thinking of you! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Also nice work on the torch AIC substitution in Remember to emphasize ‘only’ in L7... get those comments on form and structure into your writing.

Good work with y11 today on S116 and Remember- form: both are sonnets but subtly different- Volta between octave and sestet in #R allows for change of perspective- coming before final couplet in Shad seems to emphasize his fixed POV regarding love

My blog: I blog because I am a teacher. jwpblog.com/2018/12/20/my-… via @mrpeel as I hit 1000,000 views, I feel a bit self indulgent. To all wondering about blogs: do it: it costs nothing to share.

Duffy ends each stanza of #warphotographer with a rhyming couplet: the same technique used by Shakespeare to indicate the end of a scene in a play. #form

#outout is the focus of the #Skype session with Ankara tomorrow... early start for breakfast club

Can we link the 'twisted sinews of the heart' to the Belle Dame's wholly unromantic approach to love?

Experience as the opposite of Innocence - gained knowledge and understanding of the world around and the loss of a superficially 'pure' outlook on the world...

Right: next question to plan... explore the treatment of 'experience' in Tyger and La Belle Dame' Answers in series of tweets please...
