One of my pet peeves in a book/ms? So and so “bit her lips so hard they bled.” Like...really? Come on! Who DOES this in real life? The character was just a little nervous, jeez. And why doesn’t the character ever taste of blood? Nor have to spit said blood? 🤦🏻♀️ #amediting

Sending your manuscript to someone is kinda like sending naked pictures. Except with naked pictures at least you get an immediate reaction. With a manuscript, the agony is more prolonged. 😂
