Arming teachers is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. Have y’all BEEN in schools? Some students already feel like schools aren’t a safe space because of the controlling adults in the space. Bringing guns in would only exacerbate that feeling
America: the ONLY nation that thinks the solution to improving education and making schools safe is to remove books from schools and add guns.

The library was ROCKING this afternoon! We celebrated School Library Month with an Egg Hunt. Students traded their egg in for a spin on our prize wheel!

Stokesdale Elementary opened its doors for a family reading night Thursday, April 7. Dozens of families stopped in, and almost every child left with a new book. The event also featured guest readers, crafts, games and the school’s annual Port-a-Pit chicken dinner fundraiser.
