Tone: Hardy uses are very inspirational and motivational tone to get someone off their couch and out into the world to achieve success. This can be seen when he said, "You are ready to make dramatic improvements, right? Of course, the obvious answer is, "YES!"
Target Audience: Anyone who wishes work for success or refocus their lives' for in order to achieve it. Hardy breaks it down like this, "if you have an aversion to work, discipline and commitment, you're welcome to turn the TV back on and wait for next instant key to success ad."
Hardy's thesis is as follows: Success is achieved through the use of the Compound Effect. This was evident when the author stated,"I'm going to teach you to harness the power of the Compound Effect, the operating system that has been running your life, for better or worse."
I chose Twitter for its ability to post more frequently than other social media platforms. This allows me to keep my followers motivated through their journey to success with their adaptation of the Compound Effect. Twitter has the correct age demographic for my target audience.
In the book "The Compound Effect" by Darren Hardy, published in 2010, he speaks to his life experiences and his creation of "The Compound Effect." Through lessons, stories and facts, Hardy proves his theory.
