This is made for our geography class with our communist teacher.
What is the current status of democracy in the country? Yes, the democracy is very stable
Was there regime change? Yes, they turned away from becoming a dictatorship by kicking out the former president. They remained a democracy.
Why did the protests turn violent? The protests started to get violent when protesters switched from stones to guns.
Why did the protest start? Protests started due to the poverty, unemployment, government corruption and the rule of president Hosni Mubarak.
When did the protests start? They started on January 25, 2011.
