OTP 24 RC 1, The BeamAsm JIT-compiler has been added to Erlang/OTP and will give a significant performance boost for many applications. The JIT-compiler is enabled by default on most x86 64-bit platforms that have a C++ compiler that can compile C++17. github.com/erlang/otp/rel…
YES! The new @Sonic_Pi MIDI stack is alive! The core has been rewritten as an Erlang NIF in C++ by @luislloret I then did the simple job of encoding/decoding the MIDI binary in Erlang (which is such a wonderful language for this) and plumbed it into Sonic Pi's runtime. WIN!
