Does it need to be an abduction or a murder before we consider it “serious enough” to make a fuss over? Because by that point it’s too late. These extremities breed from normalised misogynistic and sexist language and behaviours that are witnessed every day in our society
Female abduction / murder is extremely rare. Yes we should all be vigilant when out alone. But this level of fear-mongering isn’t healthy. And men’s mental health is an issue as well. Calling all men out as dangerous is bad for our sons, brothers, partners.
The government is changing the law so that punishing children by locking them up can be run by a charity. This will not go well. gov.uk/government/pub…
