He sat in the car, waiting for @ColdSobaKing to answer his phone. Enji knew it was short notice, he knew that Shoto would rather gallivant with his friends (even that unscrupulous one), but this conversation was necessary and had been eating away at him for weeks now.
I’ll pick you up. Meet me outside in ten.
We need to have a talk.
“Yes, Fuyumi can keep.” His brow knit at his own response, he shouldn’t be mirroring her baby speak. She won’t learn better that way and he sounded ridiculous. “Did you want to go to the conbini after dinner?” He asked, figuring an evening walk might be good for them both.
She fished out a loose, crumpled bill of cash and she glanced up at his exasperated face. "Can Fuyumi keep?" It was just pocket change. Maybe enough for some chips and a slushie.
“You-?” He dragged a hand over his face and exhaled a long, heavy breath.
"Fuyumi texted Mama hi but she didn't wesponded yet!" She explains with a pout. She drops the phone back into the laundry hamper and continued to dig deeper for something else that was interesting.
After scrubbing his head and everything else, he washed off with a sigh. In the mirror, his gaze caught sight of the toddler digging through his stuff. “What are you doing, Fuyumi?”
Fuyumi was absolutely pullibg his clothes back out of the laundry hamper. She was curiously turning his pockets inside out in search of mints or gum or shiny coins. Oh look, there's a phone! She wants to look for solitaire...
My sister has been deaged and my father has been keeping valuable secrets about "smut" from me. I find this to be a typical week.
He sighed, taking the hint. “Fine, I’ll go bathe.”
Despite her comment, she continues sniffing her papa. It's familiar. Perhaps even safe? She wasnt sure. Sniff sniff sniff...
