Today, we are combining measuring skills with 3D modeling skills to create and assemble electrical components on the computer. These skills are essential to become good engineers and drafters. @GIPublicSchools @GISH_AoET
We are investigating HVAC and geothermal heat pumps. We are lucky to have the support of the excellent HVAC team at @GIPublicSchools. Chris and Perry gave us a tour of the specialized equipment that keep GISH comfortable. @GISH_AoET

We had a great day at @NebEngineering and @SCCNeb on a college tour today. Students saw the Energy Generation Operations and Electrical Technology programs at SCC-Milford. Later, they toured UNL’s engineering facilities, including the Power Lab. @GIPublicSchools @GISH_AoET

Back in the lab working on our pyrolysis stove project. These students finished their designs and are now building a stove to burn wood without smoke. @GIPublicSchools @GISH_AoET

Drawing is COMMUNICATION! Learning how to draft properly helps these students communicate technical ideas. Part of this is learning about the different kinds of lines in drafting and practicing those lines. @GISH_AoET @GIPublicSchools #boldlyGIPS #drafting
