Amos Neyhart, who was a faculty member in @pennstateime, taught the nation's first class in driver education in 1933 at State College High School. In 1936, he taught the first classes for driver education teachers. @PSUEngineering

The Sackett Building at University Park was completed in 1930 as the replacement to the Old Engineering Building which was lost to a fire in 1918. Named for Dean Robert L. Sackett, today it is the home of @PennStateCEE Original picture -- Penn State Special Collections Library.

Former @NASA astronaut and @NFL player Leland Melvin (@Astro_Flow) will deliver "Chasing Space: An Astronaut's Story of Grit, Grace, and Second Chances," at the Twenty-Sixth Annual Mark Luchinsky Memorial Lecture on January 25 at 7:00 p.m. Register at shc.psu.edu/luchinsky.
