My friend's husband has worked for the USPS for approx. 15 years. Box removal, & Much more was discussed over a decade ago, due to the enormous shortfall USPS faces. This was NEVER about Race! it was purely financial, regardless of the fact that it's an inconvenience to us all.
uspsoig.gov/blog/where-hav… This is from 2016. Read the Facts Please. The removal of the drop boxes began in 2011... UNDER OBAMA Administration. And yet back then no on screamed that it was racially motivated. I wonder why?
Why don't you discuss the disparity between what celebrities make & what those who risk their lives for public health, human welfare, & teachers. Why do sports, media, & acting celebrities make MILLIONS for their short moments of time, while those who risk their lives make squat?
It thoroughly disgusts me that the focus is on Only black women's pay gap... what about Native American and Hispanic women who were significantly lower still?! Do they not matter? Shouldn't the focus be on Pay Equality ACROSS THE BOARD? For EVERYONE?
#Coronavirus Can't speak for Anyone else, but I find it astoundingly foul & loathsome that Politicians & Media have turned this horrifying global event into their individually pandered platform. Divide and Conquer sadly still works, when we Should be busy saving the world.
This is the other side of my sculpture's face. Out of curiosity, wonder what would @WetaWorkshop think of this? Have only ever sculpted for fun & stress relief in the past, but I Wish I could find a way to be useful.
Oh heavens...just went way out of my shy comfort zone & shared this pic of my sculpture w/ Zooey Deschanel by text. Hope she enjoys it, as her joyful tweet made my day brighter. With Mom in hospital Covid positive, life has been difficult & depressing. Thank you Zooey. 🦄
Even though I tried to do the best for my Mom, she has been hospitalized with Covid-19, due to it being brought into the facility she was in to rehab from a stroke. Our lives are in turmoil and billing people still harassing?
Wishing everyone a Brilliant New Year, filled with the achievements you set and the goals you accomplish! While I continue to push my body to return to mobility, I hope to regain the freedom of being able to find work, and the nature I once was immersed in.
