Paradigm Conf 2022
@EsolangT
We want to teach high schoolers about cool programming languages!
Paradigm Conf 2022 has finally concluded. We reached 300+ people in over 23 countries. Thanks so much to our sponsors and speakers! Check out talks and project demos from this year's conference here (youtube.com/playlist?list=…)!
Tom Smail and Hamish Starling — our #Haskell winners for @EsolangT — finally got their prizes (the cause for delay was equal parts Covid and college apps 😜)! cc: @skillsmatter

This December at #HaskellX, @RohanMe93264078 will join us to share how a group of teens organized @EsolangT — a conference for high schoolers exploring languages like #Clojure, #OCaml, #Haskell, #Wolfram, #APL and more Learn more at: hubs.ly/Q01rtqpL0

Excited for my upcoming @reClojure talk about teaching high schoolers Clojure through @EsolangT! A lot of the story behind how we formed @EsolangT has yet to be shared – so make sure to tune in :) #Clojure
Continuing the work I started with @EsolangT on teaching teens unconventional programming paradigms with this @Replit sponsored event (that also uses @exercism_io)! Submissions are open until tomorrow night, so get coding👨🏽💻 #ReplitReps m.youtube.com/watch?v=UEAMUv…

Replit Reps Event: Replit Meetup
Thank you so much to @WorldSciFest and #WorldScienceScholars for bringing our team together :)
Thanks to Katie Doles of @AoPSNews for her great opening talk of Day 2 of our conference! We were so inspired!
Be sure to join us for Day 2 of our #ReplitReps @Replit sponsored event! It's been great to see how many people have used @Replit to solve programming problems already!
This #ocaml team is no slouch either – they're solving our own problems faster than we did! They'll be the ones to beat for tomorrow's round.

One of our #APL teams raced through the coding problems – and got more than half the problems right on the first try! They said learning APL together was the best part of their summer :) So happy to hear that!

Great opening day at #ParadigmConf. Thanks to @MLH and @HackClubBank for making it possible, and to @code_report and @JaneStreetGroup for their amazing opening talks. Can't wait to have everyone back tomorrow!
