Difficult block by Ramczyk on the frontside of PAP, handling Mack by himself. Really nice job initially setting him aggressive then transitioning into a snatch, and mirroring him up the arc
For a multi billion dollar industry It is a crime that half of these franchises have incompetent people steering the ship from the top down.
Sam Darnold was terrible last night, no one is disputing that. But the problems with this franchise start WAY above him.
If Gase believes what he said, which isn’t true btw. He’s either dumb or lazy and I dont know which ones worse, if he knew they were coming prepare your qb perhaps, and if not lazy then dumb for not being able to call plays to counter them
The words come across as genuine but it would’ve been easier to believe if Gase actually helped his quarterback with the scheme he was up against. Just threw him to the wolves.
I really liked how Adam Gase tried to get Sam Darnold back in the right frame of mind after his three first-half turnovers. Criticism of Gase is warranted, but this is encouraging:
The @patriots picked off Josh Rosen in Week 2, Josh Allen in Week 4 and Sam Darnold in Week 7. The next two QBs they face are Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson. Belichick on a personal mission to baptize the 2018 QB class.
The Nelson vs. Reader matchup didn't disappoint & was a battle. As strong of a performance as you'll find from a DT against the best LG in football. Reader continues to be criminally underrated by the mainstream.
