I’m raging! How on Earth am I supposed to make an apptmt for my mother to see a dr when I have just held on for half an hour, reached no 3 in the queue of 17 only to be cut off! She needs this apptmt to register at a new surgery to obtain the meds she needs!

My father was dying of dementia. My mother was trying to care for him. I broke the rules to help look after dad & support my exhausted mother. We managed to get 24 hour, live in care from the most wonderful carer. Dad wasn’t able to see my other three sisters. Heart breaking.
So sorry Rach. You’ve brought it home to me; I was laughing along to all the funny mock excuses people were posting. Certainly not funny for you. Sorry for your loss 💜

Giant paper bags?
No plastic bags when groceries are delivered now, which I support, but there must be a better method available than emptying crates out onto the hall floor and then carrying whatever you can grab into the kitchen.
