Portsmouth AD Rus Wilson asked the school board why it does not vote on offering sports. Multiple board members agreed (and I'm paraphrasing) that it's outside of their jurisdiction. That's confusing a lot of people as school boards all over the state continue to vote on sports.

The Concord School Board will meet Monday evening, Aug 17, to address return to school issues following last week’s vote - please see this letter from Supt Murphy regarding her recommendations for CRTC, Athletics, and at risk students.
Important school board meeting on Monday night in Exeter! Sports is on the agenda and 800+ supporters want to see a sane and safe return to sports this fall. This is for our kids, and is the safest way to get them active, as opposed to having them all join clubs and travelling.
