The Exeter Inn, established 1130AD is one of the World's Oldest Inns. Sir Walter Raleigh was arrested here for Treason and taken to the Tower of London.

Real Ale at the Old Exeter Inn is a big passionate part of us. We pour straight from the barrel off the granite Stillage set in the medieval fireplace and from our cellar Stillage (via jugs). Local, regional & national ales. We've been in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for over 20 years
The Old Exeter Inn is a maze of small, beautiful public rooms and weaving corridors. We're 891 years old this year and have a remarkable history from medieval times through to the Elizabethan and Georgian eras to the modern-day. One of the world's oldest inns is waiting quietly!
The 'new' Otter Tap Room at Old Exeter Inn. Like the rest of the pub, it's like stepping back in time! We're very proud of this addition to the beautiful Old Exeter. When we get back open we really hope you enjoy it too.
