A superb walk led by one of our regular walk leaders, Bob Pond. An +11 mile meander to the north west of Fernworthy reservoir. A favourite area for many walkers, hikers and ramblers. Some images courtesy of Lisa Templeton.

Really heavy downpours here in Exeter and East Devon today. The kids in the primary school in Tipton St John were stranded and had to be rescued by the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. More intense rainfall is exactly what we expect from #ClimateChange

Not good enough ⚠️ Today's agreement on #Dartmoor is encouraging progress but not enough. Our permissive rights today can be taken away tomorrow. The legal right to wild camp needs to be re-established & we'll support @dartmoornpa to achieve this. 🏕️ ➡️beta.ramblers.org.uk/news/dartmoor-…

A fantastic article from @HelenJRBruce1 concerning our folkloric heritage on Dartmoor is featured in our latest edition of Dartmoor Matters. Our member's magazine is available for free in many local outlets in Princetown and Tavistock, plus local libraries.

Just received my contributor copy of #DartmoorMatters from the @DartmoorDPA. In my article 'Telling the Land' I consider the preservation of #folklore as an essential part of #preserving #landscape Do you agree? #Dartmoor #SacredLandscape
