I’m going to assume that is for a job that doesn’t require 24/7 tethering. For consulting / Corp fin roles, the request is implied. If you don’t want to be tethered, it’s not the profession for you.
Last week, I sent out cold emails to a few portfolio companies and a couple of VCs offering business operation services. This is me crawling before I ball. No responses received yet. Not even a “no”. Put in a job app because real life is real.
