I don't think Hamas will respect their pronouns x.com/AleResnik/stat…

We said ‘never again.’ The UK was a safe haven. Now, after the biggest massacre of Jews since the holocaust, British Jewish children are being advised to hide their identities as they walk to school, for their own safety. There should be mass outrage that this is necessary.

A person supporting Hamas is ignorant, antisemitic, or mentally sick. There is no other explanation

"Elon Musk is a disappoinment."

The major determiner of the reach of a tweet/post should be the interest and engagement of the contents of the tweet. Instead it still remains the state of the damn algorithm, even under @elonmusk after all these months. I wonder why this is. Anyone able to explain this? Thanks!

"I promise to have this discussion in good faith and hope that it's something Mr. Lazar wants to do, but I can't guarantee it will go the way many people want."

Almost a month ago I accepted @joerogan’s invitation to a dinner and/or podcast w/ Bob Lazar. Yesterday on May 1st, I got a call from Joe. He’s fully aware of my willingness to have a scientific interchange on Lazar’s claims around “Gravity Waves A & B”. No gotchas. Just science.

"I am cool."

Dinner on Thursday: great conversations. Always meet your heroes. Just honored to have been your photographer, gents.

"I am using an anecdote to prove my point."

I’ve been quite serious about this for a long time: we need to move critical technical research fields out of the universities. Fast. Self-explanatory:

"I am nonpartisan."

Agreed. Just as there is nothing wrong with being liberal or progressive. But many of my conservative friends don’t understand why we point out that we aren’t conservatives. Many of my left of center friends see being a Republican as a mental disease or a kind of moral rot.

"I took the J&J jab. Lower risk, reasonable performance. Also, only one shot!"

Got vaccinated yesterday. I will continue to speak about the overselling of vaccines at the same time I talk about the virtues of vaccines. I elected to go w/ the somewhat lower efficacy of the virus based J&J because novelty of the mRNA approach had a more opaque risk profile.

"I need a better wifi router."

I love @bariweiss’ thread. But I can’t like it. Odd that.

"I don't understand Dawkins' question, so I'll make sure he doesn't understand mine."

Wouldn’t it just be an unexpected emergence of a novel advanced group facultative learned tool use behavior as opposed to the obligate extended phenotype behavior expected in individual arachnids using specialized physiological adaptations? Is this some kind of trick question?

"If indeed AI researchers are able to predict the structures of proteins, this revolutionizes the life sciences."

Just rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. What do I see? If true we might one day soon stop talking of “moonshots” and start talking about “protein folds” for achieving the impossible. I’ll wait to see if this pans out or is being hyped. Huge if true. I won’t believe it, just yet.

1. Compelled speech is anti-democratic. 2. Following the herd isn’t my bag. 3. Pronouns in the bio are not about the next civil rights frontier. A very few people are truly trans. In contrast, Trans Rights Activists are strategic, reality-denying & misogynistic. Yes, really.

"It was only a matter of time until the IDW, like any other political movement, began to fracture."

Irrelevant? Interesting. Because I don’t say @RubinReport is irrelevant. And quite frankly I’m not in the habit of casually throwing my friends under busses to please my audience. Even when they switch teams. If you require public disavowal of my friends, go find a new podcast.

"I occasionally agree with my brother."

What is the point of having our own marvelous specific English words if there is no place or occasion on which to use them: Wittol.
