Hi. This was/is me. I’ve just barely begun to sort through all of my feelings and really understand how wrong it was, everything that Michael did to me and put me through, and it’s all been pretty scary. The idea of speaking out is scary, too, but it’s important.

If you have trouble believing an accusation until the victim comes out with a story, it shows that you only value survivors’ lives when their vulnerability costs their mental wellbeing. It shows that you value the integrity of violence over the innocence of life.
