Mike still isn't totally confident in his gift-giving skills, but oh well. @ChimaericFlight gets some pretty blue flowers, a new pillow to use on the couch, and a fluffy blanket. Oh, and a card! 'Merry Christmas, Alicia. I love you, even if I'm not great with gifts or cards.'
Cough. "Soooooo... Love of my life, light of my world, dearest person I'll ever meet... What do you want for Christmas? Because I suck at giving gifts and I'm finally ready to admit that I've spent the last month totally clueless every time I browse through a store."
Also, Mike was totally unaware that Anzu doesn't lay eggs for the longest time. There's still a lot he doesn't understand and worries about asking. He doesn't want to draw too much attention to the bird aspects at once.
...Oops. He was supposed to cook dinner by now. ...Sticking a pizza in the over for the second time this week is fine. ...Then again, burgers or subs.
Sneeze! He's alive again. He didn't die or anything, but working full time at Flor-mart doesn't make a young man feel alive. On the bright side, he's getting a few days off for the holidays.
