The 3rd in a series of posts showing how California's public resources are being abused by corporations. Here's one story showing the danger of a business tactic to steal our precious water, and more:

[1] CA: 1994 began with a catastrophic 6.7 earthquake in the San Fernando Valley. The Northridge earthquake damaged public infrastructure, particularly Valencia Water systems, totally dewatering entire system within 30 mins due to 3 tank failures, main & service line breaks.

[7] Another Chinatown character exposes it: “They’re blowing these farmers out of their land and then picking it up for peanuts. Do you have any idea what this land would be worth with a steady water supply? About 30 million more than they paid for it!” thecanary.co/global/world-a…

[1] California has many luxuries. But it lacks one thing: abundant water resources. It's right on the Pacific Ocean, but as we hear in the movie Chinatown, “You can swim in it and you can fish in it, but you can’t drink it and you can’t irrigate an orange grove with it.”

As the President of the United States, I have an absolute right, perhaps even a duty, to investigate, or have investigated, CORRUPTION, and that would include asking, or suggesting, other Countries to help us out!

Two of my favorite tweets! Russia, Ukraine, China, Australia... there are so many more countries left to ask. Can someone be impeached more than once? I don't see this behavior slowing down let alone stopping!

The lack of progress in moving forward should be compared to the significant changes in the numbers of male nurses... What SV can learn from an industry truly open to changing diversity ratios.

Totally irrelevant to anything. Yes, please knock this shit off

Keep seeing media outlets gin up stupid-ass non-scandals against female candidates. This is why we keep electing corrupt, cruel, incompetent men. Enough: wbur.org/cognoscenti/20…
