Refactored the LNB mod for @F0DEI and re-inserted the diode in the 25MHz input path. This allows for feeding the reference frequency along with the power supply through a single cable (with bias-T). Test setup prepared. Test to be commenced tomorrow #amsat #hamradio

I just realized PROBA-2 captured the solar eclipse, so here is a gif. Decoded with @aang254's satDump, colored and aligned manually.
For the last 6 months, @aang254, @original_lego11 and myself have been working on a new X-Band downconverter. Many prototypes and 3 revisions later, we are happy to report it works great!

Finally I was able to receive elektro L2 on X-band using only a 0.75m dish. Average SNR was 7.3dB. There are some drops here and there, but still pretty impressive.
First test in S-Band PROBA-2 and NOAA15 HINODE-(Solar-B) is too weak with Discovery Dish size so no luck LNA and Backfire Helix from @digitelektro1 Filter from @sysmocom Homebrew rotator
