FAST is the local transit system for the City of Fairfield.

In observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day, the FTC admin office is closed on Monday, October 13, 2025. The office will reopen on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Bus service operates on a REGULAR schedule.


No service: Labor Day - No Service. Service Alert: In observance of Labor Day, All FAST buses will not operate, and the FTC Administration office will be closed. Regular service resumes on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.


Starting August 6, 2025. The FTC will now be open Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. This change adds Wednesday to the schedule and aims to better serve the transportation needs of Fairfield and Solano County residents


On Tuesday, July 8, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, some FAST services will run on a reduced schedule as we honor the memory of a beloved FAST driver who passed away suddenly. We thank you for your patience and compassion as we come together to support one another.


No service: July 4th - No service on Friday, July 4th, for FAST Fixed Route, FAST Connect, and FAST Connect ADA. All services resume Saturday, 7/5. FAST Admin Office closed 7/3-7/4.


No service: Memorial Day - No Service. In observance of Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, there will be no service on FAST routes, FAST Connect, or Fast Connect ADA. Normal service will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.


The FAST administrative office will be closed today from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, May 22, 2025 for a department meeting for all City of Fairfield Public Works employees. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to serving you on our return to the FTC.

Effective January 6, 2025, cash is no longer accepted for fare payment. FAST and FAST Connect fare must be paid with a Clipper Card or Token Transit mobile app. FAST Connect ADA services accept Token Transit or a 10-Ride pass as fare payments.
