Medicaid Update: @JillHVogel joined 19 Democrats, and 3 other Republicans to pass HB 5001 out of the Senate to expand medicaid. The final vote on 5002 is coming next before the House takes up the bills.

Medicaid expansion is a no-brainer - it gives millions access to care, grows the economy and creates jobs, and states that don't do it leave funding on the table. Opposition has rapidly become a sign of rigid ideologues telling their constituents: "Don't come to me for help."
