FFXVI's Thunder Cid is named Cidolfus Telamon. Telamon is a figure from Greek myth who participates in the Calydonian boar hunt, sails with Jason's Argonauts, + is the father of Ajax + Teucer of Trojan War fame. In one genealogy he's Zeus' grandson. This Cid has my attention.
