Good and gracious God, you send love, grace and hope into a broken world. Protect us from despair while we wait to see seeds grow, bread rise, and good emerge from the awful. Help us to call on you, to trust in you, to work alongside you for all that is good. Amen. @CCCB_CECC

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” Matthew 13

On July 26 the Church honors the parents of the Virgin Mary, Saints Joachim and Anne. The couple's faith brought them through the sorrow of childlessness, to the joy of conceiving and raising the immaculate and sinless woman who would give birth to Christ. bit.ly/3Y5w4oX

O Mother Mary, bless our children, descend over them, in the day and in the night, in moments of joy and in moments of sadness, in health and in sickness, in life and in death. Bring them to live with You and Jesus, forever in eternity!

On July 16 the Church celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The formal beginnings are attributed to a group of monks who, in the 13th century, began living and praying on the mountain. They venerated the Virgin Mary as Our Lady of Mount Carmel. bit.ly/3OckJA1
