When Haaland came in it was the first time that I felt sure that City would win the CL. He's a huge upgrade to their striking threat. There's also normally one or two big obstacles in their way, but the quality seems to be lacking this season, City look a level above the rest.
It was somewhat remiss of Bayern to lose a goal-a-game striker and not look to replace him.
Some fpl big names possibly dropping in price tonight. Fernandes, Saka and Kane. Fernandes and Saka I can understand, but Kane is a bit puzzling.
I'm trying to remember the last time VAR gave me points, instead of taking them away, particularly for microscopic offsides! Trent owners must be absolutely delighted! 😀
BBC reporting that there wasn't any worthwhile VAR check for first goal. VAR fucking up again. How can officials, with the benefit of cameras still get things so wrong! Total incompetence! 😀

Haaland has now equalled the PL 38 game season goal scoring record. He needs 3 more goals to beat the totals achieved in a 42 game PL season - he could do it in this game, if Pep doesn't sub him off first. 😀
Fuck! I had planned Toney/Saka (-4) to Haaland/Martinelli. The old story - had the exact money. Checked fplstatistics and Haaland was at 85% with a couple of hours to go. Woke up to a Haaland price rise and the dreaded 1k short! ☹️ Ended up going Kane to Haaland, no hit. 😬
Toney/Mitoma owners endured 2 disallowed goals (one incorrectly) a missed pen, and another pen incorrectly not given! Two mega-hauls wiped out! 😀

For those anguishing over a bad fpl season (and those delighting over a great one) @FPLFocal made a great point in his gw30 team video. He showed his variance (basically fpl luck) between this season and last - the difference was over 200 points!! Sometimes you roll a 1 ☹️
