Nice and easy project today, had thus since my daughter was about 2 (she's 7 now) so i decided to clean it up and give it a coat of paint, looks awesome and now it fits into our garden and matches my work bench. kids love it, I'll finish the 2nd chair in the morning.
Took the opportunity while helping a kitchen installation to grab the off cuts from countertop (couldn't let them go in the skip), and made a couple chopping boards. As you can see the front one has been coated with butcher block oil..... stuff, looks pretty good imo. Solid oak!
Had some time today "to do a thing" and got these cheap rolson led torches I keep in the car,changed out the bulbs for blue ones (kids choice). Simple and quick little project that should last a few years. Added bonus, the blue makes some uv reactive things to react, kids love it

So this is why I've been so quiet, I've been busy building this, my very first workbench (first joint work too). I'm happy with how it turned out but I would love to see what you all think.
Made a small production run of shark LED coasters for some coworkers. It fires the laser when you tap it when sitting flat, changes colour depending on the temperature and goes into full rainbow shark when you pick it up!
