M and P Forms have had a wonderful time leaf pressing in autumn crafts during activities this evening 🍂
2nd form have been enjoying investigating the amount of energy in food as part of their Healthy Living topic in Science this week.
P Form were playing a game to consolidate their knowledge on place value. In pairs, one partner would write a four digit number and the other had to hunt for the correct counters on the floor. Lots of maths talk happening!
S Form created small abstract sculptures before observing the wonderful lines of all descriptions (swirls, twists,zig zags and such). The vocabulary the children used was fantastic!
P Form had a great maths lesson exploring number lines to 1000 using pegs and string. They were challenged by open questions to support their critical thinking ⭐️
We had a wonderful assembly led by Miss Chartres and Flossie Flipflop this morning. They gave us some fantastic tips on public speaking to help us with our weekly match reports ⭐️
