Films are too long. Books are too long. Get back to 200 page stories and under two hour movies. The first Mad Max film was an hour and a half. The latest is seven weeks. Same with books. They are all yoga blocks. Bring back thin classics. Dr Jeckyll, Animal Farm, Gatsby etc.

I was a snobby book purist kid when the Lynch Dune came out, so things like the Weirding Modules really bugged me & I thought of it as a bad movie with striking imagery. But the Spicediver edit on Youtube with the extra scenes in proper order has turned me around. I love it now.

All are gorgeous, tbh, but the typewriter is my fave. I've collected a couple of typewriters and the "you are my sunshine" lyrics wins my heart as mum used to sing this to me. But anyone who wants one of these should RT. They are lovely pieces of art.
