A 2006 Hartford Court Far Coast Vineyard Pinot Noir started out tight and lean, opened up into a far sweeter medium bodied wine.

2008 Uptick Vineyards Cabernet was a nice easy drinking wine. Chalk Hill yields some nice Cabernets. http://www.uptickvineyards.com

2007 Far Niente Chardonnay was a little funky up front, and lasted awhile, then became buttery in style. A little disappointing overall.

1968 Beaulieu Vineyards Beaumont Pinot Noir: Earthiness, mineral, game meats, dry spice, rich texture, combined with no signs of oxidation.

1997 Beaulieu Vineyards Georges de Latour: Black fruits, considerably closed and shutdown, a wine to revisit in 5 to 10 years.

1987 Beaulieu Vineyards Georges de Latour: Dark fruits, minerals, dry leaves and spice. Had a lot in common with the 1986, more closed.

1998 Robert Arnoux Clos De Vougeot was excellent, clean and pure raspberry and cherry fruits. In time, became a little grassy, but subtle.

2001 Robert Chevillon Les St Georges, noted aged leather, iron, sweet earthiness, and game meats, it was very interesting. A nice wine.

2000 Nicolas Potel Vosne Romanee Les Gaudichots was a nice wine. Barnyard, asian spice, tea and cola, became far more expressive with time.

The 2008 Jemrose Egret Pond Late Harvest Viognier was a gorgeous wine, huge peach and citrus fruits, likewise, pure and clean. A nice wine!

A 2004 Agharta Syrah and 2006 Jemrose Cardiac Hill Syrah were both powerful ripe, big wines that both showed very well side by side.
