Ok, mixing on my desk makes me mix it better than if I keep it in the Computer. It's partly workflow, partly electricity, partly randomness
Records evolve to completion... Don't be worried if the first-mix can't walk and talk...just be worried if it has 3 heads...
Snare - using Drumagog as reverb by triggering a 'room' snare sample, another track with dry sample pitch shifted down an octave = fat
Automate input to compressor first, then compress if still needed...
