I spend a lot of time thinking about how best to talk about apple juice boxes in this podcast, and then I become sad that I haven't had apple juice in over 3 months. is this a real problem? no. does it feel like one though? yes. yes it does.
We gotta normalize letting main characters be imperfect, esp the females. That's generally the point of a book, their growth and coming into their own. Which means they will frustrate/annoy/disappoint you as a reader along the way. That is...the point of a character arc.
That's something someone who doesn't listen to podcasts would say. This is why you should listen to more podcasts.

It’s frankly ridiculous that we can’t find one species of moss that will live on my head and eat anxiety/depression. Stylish, functional symbiosis. Have we really looked everywhere?
i'm in the middle of finishing up episode 3, and currently writing and fleshing out episodes 4 and 5, which means I soon have to write episode 6, and ngl. both excited for, and dreading it.
